The present work gives the results of the research of macrozoobenthos some running waters drainage areas of the Dyje River (southern Moravia - Czech Republic). Altogether, 762 taxa of macrozoobenthos were determined from the running waters of southern Moravia. Porifera (3), Hydrozoa (3), Turbellaria (8), Nematoda (14), Nematomorpha (1), Oligochaeta (60), Hirudinea (18), Bryozoa (5), Mollusca (44), Isopoda (2), Amphipoda (4), Decapoda (2), Hydracarina (17), Ephemeroptera (65), Plecoptera (55), Odonata (26), Heteroptera (3), Plannipennia (2), Trichoptera (128), Coleoptera (59), Diptera (243). Some taxa of macrozoobenthos are extinct unfortunately in running waters of Southern Moravia at present time. Another ones appear newly, for example snail Potamopyrgus antipodarum from New Zealand or Dreissena polymorpha from Pontic region. The data presented in this paper may serve as a basis for future monitoring of water quality and zoobenthos composition in connection with presumption of climate changes.

The aim of the paper is to highlight the perception of the quality of edible oils and preferences of the Slovak consumers for the oil purchase as well as the factors that can affect the purchase of oil, respectively the consumer decision-making. In order to obtain primary data was used the method of questionnaire investigation. In the questionnaire research there were 664 respondents from all over Slovakia involved. The results of marketing research showed the different approaches to assessing the quality by Slovak consumers. Nearly 54% of respondents connect the food quality with health certificate, high-quality ingredients and freshness. Brand quality SK is known by 58% of respondents. The raw material from which is oil produced, oil clarity, thermal stability and color are features that respondents prefer when purchasing the edible oils. To know the content of essential fatty acids was interesting only for 7.44% of the respondents. Slovak consumers prefer sunflower, olive and rapeseed oil.

Purpose of currently running research, which is part of research program Biological and technological aspects of sustainability of controlled ecosystems and their adaptability to climate change at Faculty of Agronomy, is mapping of progress in water infiltration on selected areas at Žabčice locality and to specify possibilities of a water accumulation and retention influence in a landscape.
During of the first year of measurement (2008), from April to November, has proceeded field measurement of soil infiltration ability at Žabčice locality. To get statistically conclusive results, measurement runs in three repetitions and data are subsequently averaged. Three sets of homocentric metal cylinders were used for the measurement. Measurement of infiltration has been preceded by an overflow. Empirical equations according to Kosťjak were used for evaluation of field measurement.
At the same time there were ensured intact soil samples for laboratory determination of soil physical properties using Kopecky cylinders at depths of 10, 20 and 30 cm, and for the calculation of selected hydro-physical parameters of soil. reduced volume weight, actual monture, porosity, aeration and other.
Graphical presentation presents process of speed infiltration and cumulative infiltration on selected area Niva IV. A. Non-homogeneity of measured values could be induced by several different factors.

Innovation conduce to getting competitive advantage and they increase efficiency and total company performance. They are generally deemed as a key development factor. They represent group of activities leading to successful production, absorption and using economical and social innovation. Well managed and successfully introduced innovation into the market represents the tool for the companies, by means of which they can reach competitive advantages, enabling their prosperity in the slump. The urgency of synergic entrepreneurship as a key support of innovation is point out on a base of primary research in South Moravian manufacturing companies. As it is mentioned in this paper, most of respondents are open to external cooperation in innovation activities. Furthermore, they admit that without this collaboration they will not be able to produce any innovative products. Suitable forms, which can be utilized in our companies, are carried out with the help of secondary research in the article as well. Their accomplishments and disabilities are compared in accordance with local and foreign experts' theories. What follows is a discussion about requirements of strategic partnership success and advantages in the area of innovation.

This study was conducted to determine the composition of sugars and organic acids in root exudates of Miscanthus × Giganteus and to find out if microorganisms of the rhizospheric soil are limited by mineral nutrients. The following sugars and organic acids were determined in root exudates of this plant: glucose, saccharose, and acids such as succinic, propionic, citric, tartaric, malic, oxalic, ascorbic, acetic and fumaric. Respiration of soil from rhizosphere of Miscanthus × Giganteus was found to be limited by N, K and Ca. Respiration rate after application of mineral compounds increased in following orther: nitrate > calcium > potassium > ammonium, giving approx. 165, 99, 52 and 31 % increase compared to control. Further research is necessary to determine the role of plant nutrients from the point of their limitations for rhizosphere microorganisms, to broader very rare knowledges in this topic, especially for polluted soils to stimulate efficiency of phytoremediations.

When looking for connections between particular business's activities, theory of financial management uses pyramidal system of indicators. The effectiveness of this tool is based on the appropriate choice of the top indicator. Its decomposition enables to manage firm's processes from the bottommost organizational levels to the main firm's mission with respect to the connections between particular processes. The aim of this paper was to identify appropriate indicator, which corresponds with creation of firm's value and design its decomposition. To measure creation of firm's value it is nowadays very popular to use indicator Economic Value Added (EVA). Though from the theoretical point of view EVA is seen as a superior performance metric, the results of some empirical studies do not support this claim. That is why the information content of EVA was controlled in the concrete conditions of Czech Economy within this article. The results showed eligibility of using EVA in Czech firms and enabled to choose it as the top indicator in the pyramidal system. Ambition of further research is to design a complex of indicators offering a comprehensive economic view on the firm's performance.

This article deals with evaluation of consumer data by Artificial Intelligence methods. In methodical part there are described learning algorithms for Kohonen maps on the principle of supervised learning, unsupervised learning and semi-supervised learning. The principles of supervised learning and unsupervised learning are compared. On base of binding conditions of these principles there is pointed out an advantage of semi-supervised learning. Three algorithms are described for the semi-supervised learning: label propagation, self-training and co-training. Especially usage of co-training in Kohonen map learning seems to be promising point of other research.
In concrete application of Kohonen neural network on consumer's expense the unsupervised learning method has been chosen - the self-organization. So the features of data are evaluated by clustering method called Kohonen maps. These input data represents consumer expenses of households in countries of European union and are characterised by 12-dimension vector according to commodity classification. The data are evaluated in several years, so we can see their distribution, similarity or dissimilarity and also their evolution. In the article we discus other usage of this method for this type of data and also comparison of our results with results reached by hierarchical cluster analysis.

The ultraviolet radiation (UV), reaching the earth's surface, changes color of the paint films. By exposure to weathering, the biggest damage is caused by light, especially short-wavelength UV, high temperature and humidity. Any of these factors can lead to degradation. These natural elements can be reproduced and accelerated in laboratory conditions in test devices, such as the fluorescent UV or xenon-arc test chambers. Such equipment can provide fast and reproducible results. The artificial aging is a useful tool for product research and it is required by many international standards. A major problem in comparing the outdoor and laboratory tests is the fact, that the weathering-chamber enviroment is well controlled, whilst nature is not. The outdoor exposure tests are influenced by many factors, such as altitude, local conditions, seasonal variations, orientation of the sample and variable properties of test materials. Our work compares the influence of altitude of the tested position on light stability of surface finish treatment. The color changes are observed on different kinds of coating paint films with different contents of chemically binded UV stabilizator. Furthermore, the influence of bolstering material was observed. This material was mostly made of woods from temperate clima zone. One tropical wood was used for this purpose as well. The color changes of paint films (ΔE) on different bolstering materials were assessed by spectrophotometer.
