Treatments significantly increased total feather length in comparison to the untreated control only in the case of 'Bing'. Total feather growth in these cases was more than double that of control trees. On 'Lapins' treated trees, total number of lateral shoots was in most cases significantly increased. In 'Stella' trees, total feather length and total number of lateral shoots were not affected by treatments.
