AB This paper deals with the evaluation methodology of the service provider's potential in the area of the congressional tourist trade where the provider means the owner of the congressional ground. In this contribution, the progress of creating the methodology is described; from quantification and ordering particular evaluating factors through levelling their importance with the aid of the weights up to the quantification of the congressional service provider's potential through indexes. The suggested methodology is put into practice by testing on an existing congressional service provider. The given subject reached the value of index of congressional service provider's potential I<sub>CP</sub> = 81,64 %, which ranked him into the category of excellent potential.
