Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyse the primary data collected using structured questionnaire (from 140 rural farming households). Findings from the study have shown that, 90 % of the respondents were male, mostly educated (70 %) and married (89 %) engaging in farming as their primary livelihood activity (about 81 %) with an average farm size of 2.47 hectares. The result of the binary logit regression has shown that level of education and income do influence access to credit positively, while age and distance to access point negatively influence respondents' access to formal credit. The study further revealed that, lack of acceptable collateral / security, high interest rates, low financial literacy, and complex banking procedures were the main factors that limits the respondents' access to credit facility from formal sources. In order for farmers to have an improved access to formal credits, the formation of strong groups that are viable to provide the needed capital is encouraged, banking operations should be simplified to suite farmers' needs / convenience and financial literacy among farmers should be improved through awareness campaigns (in agricultural extension packages). Under this purpose, the following objectives were set: to find out the viability and usefulness of competitive tactics which influence the performance of micro and small family firms in the wine sector. These main competitive tactics have been established theoretically and require further practical confirmation. Another important partial objective was to verify the viability of family influence on the business performance in the framework of the study. Due to the lack of a sufficient theoretical basis in this sector, the author of the article puts the question, which indicators are used by selected firms for each tactic and how these firms percept and measure their performance. The research has a form of pilot study. The collecting of primary data was carried out using face-to-face structured interviews with ten representatives as a typical micro and small family business in the wine sector in the Czech Republic with considered restrictions. Then the content analysis was carried out using coding method and Atlas.ti software. The coded fragments and expressions were subsequently compared among themselves for the identification and interpretation of central categories. This investigation will serve to determine hypotheses in the larger parent study, which will be verified using quantitative methods. This research confirmed the authority of the competitive tactics, familiness and its influence on the business performance; and confirmed ability for practical application in the established reality. Results of the study are useful for both theorists and practitioners. Despite a certain form of insecurity whether the brain imaging technologies provide useful information for control of marketing, more and more marketers identify with their application in conventional market research. The main aim of this contribution is to clarify the influence of a selected advertising spot on the final emotional state of consumers by researching a brain activity of respondents and activity of somatic nervous system, specifically the face expressions. Cortical brain activity was detected by 16channel wireless electroencephalograph by Epoc and changes of mimic muscles were monitored by a biometric device the Facereader by Noldus. The subject of the research is the dissonance of the selected neuroscience techniques with influence of chosen advertising emotional appeals like fear, disgust and sadness. In the end of our contribution, the way of using the neuroscience technology and psychology for detection of consumer emotional involvement of consumers is explained. This trend is one of the factors, which are able to influence the price of real estate. Our paper introduces determinants of housing price and their influence on actual real estate prices in the statutory city of Brno. The aim of this paper is to present key determinants of house price and find the hedonic price model, which describes, how determinants affect house price best. Realized prices were analyzed for housing units located in different districts of Brno. Key determinants in this research are a year of sale, an area of flat in square meters, number of rooms, location in districts of Brno, type of masonry and reconstruction. The dataset covers the time period between years 2012 and 2015. Hedonic price model is estimated by the method of ordinary least square. Besides main aim, four assumptions were verified, which should determine the influence on the price of individual determinants in the statutory city of Brno. The goal of this paper is to identify how the comparative advantages of Czech Agrarian exports are distributed. In addition to this, the article also attempts to identify the main differences in the characteristics of agrarian trade between developed countries on one hand and developing countries on the other hand. The results suggest that the agrarian trade performs very differently in relation to individual groups of countries. The Czech agrarian trade has been progressively developing, specifically in relation to developer countries of the world. In this regard, it is necessary to mention the constantly improving characteristics of the Czech agrarian trade in relation to EU28 countries (however, the comparative advantages are based on low prices and high volumes of exported goods. In relation to developing countries, Czech trade is more or less stagnate (however, the trade is based on items with a higher level of processing and in comparison with developed countries is also based on items with significantly higher unit prices). A rather specific development was also recorded in relation to CIS countries and "other European countries". The Czech Republic has a highly competitive commodity structure in relation to these countries, which is primarily based on the export of goods with higher value added and relatively high per kilogram prices. The first approach is based on transforming the samples from either Poisson or negative binomial distribution in order to achieve normality or variance stability, and then testing the hypothesis of equality of expectations via the F-test. In the second approach, test statistics coming from the theory of maximum likelihood appearing in generalised linear models framework, specially designed for testing the hypothesis among samples from the respective distributions (Poisson or negative binomial), are used. The comparison is done graphically, by plotting the simulated power functions of the test of the hypothesis of equality of expectations, when first or second approach was used. Additionally, the relationship between the power functions obtained via the respective approaches and sample sizes is studied by evaluating the respective power functions as functions of a sample size numerically. Systematic education increases the potential of the workforce which has a positive impact on all organisation processes in all sectors, including agriculture. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the deployment of educational methods in Czech agricultural organisations and to assess their efficiency within the educational process. The data was obtained through a quantitative survey, specifically a questionnaire, among selected agricultural organisations operating in the Czech Republic (n = 70). The evaluation involved independence tests (the χ2 test) and multi-dimensional statistics (factor analysis). The results showed that most of the surveyed agricultural organisations have implemented an educational process in order to develop competencies among their staff. Among the surveyed organisations, the results have identified 4 organisational approaches to the use of educational methods (0.404-0.860) and two ways how to evaluate their efficiency in the educational process (0.519-0.889). Testing has proven a correlation between whether an agricultural organisation develops education systematically, plans educational activities for a pre-defined period and evaluates the efficiency of educational activities using selected identification variables. Analysis of these factors enabled us to sort the consumers into groups based on their gender, age, education, and other identifiers. Further research then revealed more detailed shopping preferences of each one of those groups. The findings generated recommendations for producers and organic produce vendors on the best way to provide target marketing for different groups of consumers and therefore increase their sales of organic produce and food made from organic produce. Considering the use of categorical data, contingency tables and correspondence maps served as the best representation and processing tools.Data analysis showed that organic produce is most frequently purchased by respondents in the age of 45+ years, who also tend to spend more money for this range of products. At the same time, these would be the respondents, who struggle the most when recognizing organic produce and who have often never seen any advertisement for it. The respondents aged 25 years and less tend to purchase organic produce least frequently; they also often do not care about the origin of organic produce. Almost the same applies to families with multiple children. However, young respondents often grow their own organic produce. There is still a not insignificant percentage of consumers, who consider organic produce to be expensive and who do not believe in their qualities. As it turns out, when it comes to organic produce the respondents purchase most frequently fruits and vegetables, milk and dairy products. It tries to identify and shortly describe the main factors affecting chances of older workers to get and keep a job. There are many approaches how to evaluate the opportunities and obstacles faced by older workers. On the basis of review of literature this paper points to significant problems that population ageing can bring to labour market. The differences between changes in productivity and changes in earnings might lead to reduction of employment of older workers. Technological progress or structural changes in industrial economies leads to other difficulties associated with ageing. Both employment and hiring of older workers are influenced by institutional arrangement. The future reforms should be aimed at improving flexibility of the labour market or eliminating stickiness of wages. The attention should be also paid to pension system and social security system.
