The complexity of structures and uncertainty of behaviour which are also conditioned by incorporating the human factor are the typical characteristics of economic entities and the social system. The lack of precise measurement data as well as precise information is their typical feature. Methods of creating computer models of such systems must therefore be based on uncertain, incomplete or approximate data and hypothetical assumptions. The paper deals with the synthesis of the abstract model of the expert system for determining the level of corporate social responsibility of an enterprise (CSR) with the use of methods of artificial intelligence. The linguistic rule model is built on the basis of the expert determination of the level of CSR based on the level of care for employees, level of supplier-customer relations, level of its ecological behaviour, and compliance with legal obligations. The linguistic modelling method is based on the theoretical approach to fuzzy set mathematics and fuzzy logic. The aim of the paper is the presentation of the system for determining the level of CSR with the use of non-conventional non-numerical methods as well as simulative presentation of the efficiency of its functions. The above-mentioned expert system is a relevant module of the built hierarchical structure aimed at the research of impacts of activities of economic entities on the social system. The heterogeneity of real estate property is, in particular, that every unit is unique in terms of its construction, condition, financing and mainly location and thus assessing the value must necessarily be difficult. This research also indicates the rate of efficiency of markets across the types based on their level of variability. The research is based on two databases consisting of various types of real estate with specific market parameters. These parameters determine the differences across the types and reveal heterogeneity. The first database has been set on valuations by sales comparison approach and the second one on data of real properties offered on the market. The methodology is based on univariate and multivariate statistics of key variables of those databases. The multivariate analysis is performed by Hotelling T2 control chart and statistics with appropriate numerical characteristics. The results of both databases were joint by weights with regard to the dependence criterion of the variables. The final results indicate potential valuation accuracy across the types. The main contribution of the research is that the evaluation was not only derived from the price deviation or distribution, but it also draws from causes of real property heterogeneity as a whole. In the Czech context, the knowledge about entrepreneurship is still underdeveloped. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the dynamics of the relationship between unemployment and entrepreneurship, applying the methodology used by Koellinger and Thurik (2012) with usage of the quarterly data for the Czech NUTS 3 regions for the period of years 2003-2014. Collected sample of 672 region-quarter observations was obtained from the Czech Statistical Office. Estimated panel vector autoregressive (VAR) models with impulse response function supported hypothesis assuming a positive relationship between unemployment and entrepreneurship, operationalized as annual growth in registered business activity. Obtained results also showed that after the shock in unemployment, dynamics of entrepreneurship increased above its initial level after two years, concluding that it may take up to two years before positive effects on entrepreneurship reveal. This finding provides value for entrepreneurship policy makers. Based on the obtained results author suggests to support entrepreneurial activity, especially during the times of higher unemployment rate. The current situation of voluntary activities is not satisfactory and there is an absence of primary research studies that would provide a relevant and complex overview of the volunteering system. Further worsening the situation is the fact that volunteering actions were not even defined in the legal system until 2011. Evaluation of the existing situation and development of voluntary activities realized in Slovakia is carried out using a questionnaire survey, identifying the fundamental barriers of its development and evaluating the potential for implementing new challenges and trends. The most problematic issue is area of financing, closely related to non-governmental sector financing issues. A lack of understanding by the donors concerning the process of investing in volunteers, even in high quality programs, is also an important problem, along with the lack of legislation and mistrust. Organization and volunteer motivation was also investigated. Advantage of the model is its ability to use a few selected indicators compared to the complex methodology of current classification model that requires knowledge of detailed structure of the herd turnover and structure of cultivated crops. Output of the paper is intended to be applied within farm structure research focused on future development of Czech agriculture. As data source, the farming enterprises database for 2014 has been used, from the FADN CZ system. The predictive model proposed exploits knowledge of actual size classes of the farms tested. Outcomes of the linear discriminatory analysis multifactor classification method have supported the chance of filing farming enterprises in the group of Small farms (98 % filed correctly), and the Large and Very Large enterprises (100 % filed correctly). The Medium Size farms have been correctly filed at 58.11 % only. Partial shortages of the process presented have been found when discriminating Medium and Small farms. Therefore, from 2015, the Third Basel Accord (EU, 2013a) and (EU, 2013b) instructed banks to calculate the capital requirement for the risk of credit valuation adjustment (CVA). Banks are trying to model CVA to hold the prescribed standards and also reach the lowest possible impact on their profit. In this paper, we try to model CVA using methods that are in compliance with the prescribed standards and also achieve the smallest possible impact on the bank's earnings. To do so, a data set of interest rate swaps from 2015 is used. The interest rate term structure is simulated using the Hull-White one-factor model and Monte Carlo methods. Then, the probability of default for each counterparty is constructed. A safe level of CVA is reached in spite of the calculated the CVA achieving a lower level than CVA previously used by the bank. This allows a reduction of capital requirements for banks. As a resource rich country, Azerbaijan's budget revenues is severely depend on oil price and production levels. This study investigates oil sector dependency of state budget tax revenues in case of Azerbaijan by employing FMOLS, DOLS and CCR cointegration methods for the period of 2000Q1-2015Q2. Empirical results indicate statistically and economically significant positive long-run impact of both oil related factors on tax revenues. Considering current fiscal challenges in the country, research findings are very useful for policy purposes and fills the gap in the literature by drawing mechanism of the association and estimating the relationship empirically. The study employed content analysis for the mission statement and data from America customer satisfaction index (ACSI). In analysing our data, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression techniques were used. The result showed that product and service, technology, philosophy, self-concept, and public image mission statement components are strongly positively correlated with customer satisfaction. Customer, survival, growth and profitability and market mission statement components are insignificantly negatively correlated with customer satisfaction. The study, therefore, recommends that companies that want to remain competitive by enhancing customer satisfaction should formulate mission statements from a customer perspective so that they include product and service, technology, philosophy, self-concept, and public image components. The main limitation of the study represents the sample size and structure. This study empirically investigated the correlation and association of nine mission statement components with customer satisfaction. Agricultural enterprises with project management are able to foresee their future. Their managers are able to identify upcoming problems earlier and get ready to them in advance. Crisis is seen as a phenomenon more common than rare and it is therefore essential that the enterprises respond by reflecting the aspects and impacts of the crisis in their corporate strategy, and the managers learn to manage crises effectively. The paper deals with a single research of the management of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic. It is focused on the use of projects in farm management and evaluation of the significance of the crisis managers of these enterprises. Only about 15 % of enterprises manage its organization by projects. The crisis occurs in all organizations, in varying degrees and intensity. Most often agricultural enterprises are faced with a crisis caused by the change in legislation and bureaucracy. The importance of a crisis was evaluated by the managers with an average rate of 3.6 (where 5 was the highest). The questionnaire method was used for primary data collection. The limitation of the paper covers areas such the sample (34 enterprises), methodology and data. Monitoring the effect of the VAT rate reduction on selected gluten-free food and products was a part of a research focused on gluten-free consumer preferences when eating in restaurants (960 respondents were interviewed). Further research which was focused on the effect of the VAT rate reduction and which surveyed the consumer criteria when purchasing gluten-free products addressed a total of 160 respondents with a gluten-free diet. According to the respondents' experience, the introduction of the second reduced VAT rate of 10 % has not significantly affected the prices for the final consumers. The reason for that may be the fact that the second reduced VAT rate applies mostly to ingredients used in gluten-free production and only a few final products. A large group of coeliacs is not even aware of or has not registered the VAT change. The food industry is the largest manufacturing sector in the EU which consists mainly of SMEs. However, in the Czech Republic it has to face increasing imports of foreign food products because of growing globalization, while exports lag behind. Thus, enterprises should be encouraged to internationalize in a greater extent to maintain their competitiveness. The paper explores the main motives, barriers and risks involved in internationalization as perceived by these enterprises. The results are based on primary data obtained by questionnaire surveys performed among Czech food industry SMEs, thus it is based on data about SME's real experiences and perception of interntaionalization process. According to our results, Czech SMEs from food industry are driven to internationalize mainly by their efforts to grow or by unsolicited foreign demand for their product. However, as the biggest barriers are perceived those connected with the lack of knowledge about foreign market and administrative requirements. The identified motives and barriers are compared with results of similar researches from Slovakia and Poland. Moreover, the results of Czech SMEs risk perception in internationalization are depicted in risk matrix which assess not only the effect of risk but also the possibility of its occurrence. Their principal advantages include EU funding and the capacity to generate economic returns and stimulate the development of local communities. The methodology used for the evaluation of the performance of LAGs is defined by the EU on the one hand and by national authorities on the other. Furthermore, there are an entire array of evaluation tools and academic experiments available. The present paper does not aim at a comprehensive evaluation of LAGs, but instead only examines the technical efficiency of LAGs. Using the Czech Republic as an example, the paper introduces an evaluation tool to measure the technical efficiency of LAGs and describes how it can be applied. The adoption of this tool is seen as a means of improving one of the parameters of the performance of LAGs. Data on Vietnamese Annual Enterprises Survey are exploited to build a firm-level panel data on the Vietnamese wearing apparel industry from 2009 to 2013. By applying stochastic production frontier model, this paper shows that there are positive vertical spill-over effects but no horizontal effects. Moreover, this study finds the negative impact of the absorptive capacity of domestic firms on benefits reaped from FDI externalities. On the other hand, it is a sectional phenomenon which requires a high level of coordination and cooperation of all tourism stakeholders. This is the background for the practical implementation of tourism policy. The state's conceptual activity and its institutions are irreplaceable in this respect. From this point of view, a prerequisite for quality economic-political decisions of the existence of materials and methods, which these features respect, is necessary. One of these prerequisites is a quantitative analysis of tourism potential in the Czech Republic, which should be a basis for direct and targeted state's interventions into the improvement of public infrastructure of tourism in the area. The main purpose of the quantitative analysis of tourism potential is to objectively measure the tourism potential, i.e., to set the criteria for the evaluation of its national, regional, and local importance and consequently, conduct a comparative analysis of the tourism areas and centers of importance according to the key types of tourism. Finally, on the basis of the processed factual, statistical and cartographic information to propose functionally spatial delimitation of tourism potential.
