It denotes, that the vision of the European model of multifunctional agriculture is ever more frequently confronted with new challenges invoked by acceleration of globalization processes. Those qualitatively new requirements to agricultural enterprises behaviour as well as to the state intervention, strictly speaking the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), in the branch in a framework of the global markets development is notified there. On the basis of analyses of individual development stages and the manner, in which this sector has been legislatively and economically regulated, it is possible to document in the history of CAP EU the radical development of the European agrarian sector in general and how the CAP reacted to this development. The development concerned both the very agriculture and the agrarian sector and its economic position and changes of the social environment itself and the selection of adequate regulation tools corresponding to the environmental development and changes of situation. We can see that significant regional and structural differences are still hidden behind aggregated data about average economic performance of the agrarian sector of the EU and that different approach and priorities for solutions to individual issues can be chosen, provided that the issues have been identified and assessed in an objective manner. At the sometime these findings can be an opportunity to consider to what extent the individual member states are able to take over the existing rules and use conditions imposed by directives of the Community and to what extent we are able to actively assess the situation of the world agrarian markets and adequately respond to the development of the economic environment in broader international contexts. Amendments of the above mentioned conditions become new impulses determining the direction and dynamics of development of the economic environment; if we intend to preserve or improve our competitive strength, it is necessary to adequately respond to them. The approach is based on the concept of the Model Driven Architecture (MDA) and uses a UML - based model of graphical user interfaces, which is created according to rules defined in a meta - model. The meta - model is not oriented to a particular platform, thus all designed models can be created independently of the programming language and widget library. This platform independent UML based model can be transformed into source - code for an arbitrary programming language and can be used in a software development process. The meta - model of our approach is an extension of the common UML and provides support for modeling the presentation layer. The meta - model thus fills a gap that exists in modeling three - layered software applications, beside the application and the data layer. By providing this possibility for modeling the presentation layer, we can crucially impact current approaches to the development of three layered software applications. All model artifacts contain essential information about the graphical user interface and can be used for a code generation. Since the UML is widely used by analysts, they can produce models which de-facto represent source code and thus they reduce the workload for programmers, who create source code by some traditional approaches. Our model - based approach also strictly separates the appearance and the structure of graphical user - interfaces and both of them are developed separately, which brings higher modularity of software. In this paper, we demonstrate our development approach by focusing on the structure of graphical user interfaces. Our approach is influenced by the concept of Model Driven Architecture and we deal with all related issues, such as meta - model, user models, model transformations and source - code generation. For evaluating our approach, we designed and developed a software framework, we integrated it into a generic modeling tool, and used approach principles during the development of a module of an information system. First a generalized unit matrix is introduced as the simplest case of an orthonormal matrix along with some of its properties and, subsequently, the properties of orthonormal matrices are proved that will be needed. The derivation itself of a parametric definition of third-order orthonormal matrices is based on the numbers of zero entries that are theoretically possible. Therefore, it is first proved that a third-order square matrix with the number of non-zero entries different from nine, eight, five, or three cannot be orthonormal. The number of different ways in which the set of third-order orthonormal matrices can be parameterized is greater than one. The concepts of a rotation matrix and a flop-enabling rotation matrix are introduced to motivate the parameterization chosen.Given the product of two rotation matrices and one flop-enabling rotation matrix, it is first proved that it is a third-order orthonormal matrix. In the last part of the paper, it is then proved that such a product already includes, as special cases, all the third-order orthonormal matrices. It is thus a parametric definition of all third-order orthonormal matrices. Particular attention is paid to the fact that even when there is a single political grouping of states, which between them reported psychological closeness, there are differences between them, to be taken into account. Significant differences are primarily in consumer attitudes and preferences, their purchasing decisions as well as acceptance of the various tools of communication mix.Direct Marketing is form of marketing communication aimed on exact selection of target group and its effective addressing. Contrary to the Mass Marketing, each customer is addressed individually and directly, and databases of potential or regular customers are used. One form of Direct Marketing is Direct Mail. It is the oldest and most advanced tool of Direct Marketing. Also called mailing, it is the most important tool of Direct Marketing. The country with the highest amount of delivered mailings is Czech Republic. Up to 82% of respondents indicated that Direct Mail receives often or very often. In Slovak Republic, Poland and the Czech Republic, more than half of respondents read the received mailings only occasionally. Significantly overwhelming majority of Slovaks, Czechs and Poles responds to the delivered mailings by checking out the sender's web site firstly, or establishing the contact via e-mail. Hungarian respondents prefer answer sheet the most. In the first part of the paper tests of homogeneity for exponentially distributed claims are discussed and their properties are stated. The statistical properties of parameter estimations for such claims are also mentioned. In the second part the classical Cramer-Lundberg ruin model is discussed when claims are distributed as mixtures of exponentials. Our attention is focussed primarily on assesment of accuracy of approximations obtained. Then our results are compared to those already known. Particularly it concentrates on the analysis of internet and daily press usage. Internet is a constantly developing communication channel which is increasingly used in the field of marketing communication and contributes to the development of business environment. Due to its characteristics it is an ideal mean for multilingual communication and communication on international markets. The daily press is on the other hand a representative of traditional media. It is perceived by public as a more natural communication channel. The paper seeks an answer to the question which communication channel is more suitable to communicate with a particular target group - press or the internet. The paper tests the correlation between identification factors and frequency of internet and press presence. Testing will be carried out by using a database obtained in a primary research conducted by the Department of Marketing and Trade at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno. Results published in the paper are part of research objective, id. code: 62156 48904 "The Czech Republic in the process of integration and globalization and the evolution of agrarian and service sectors in the new conditions of the European integrated market", thematic area 03 "The evolution of trade relationships regarding changes in a life style and purchasing behaviour and changes of business environment in the process of integration and globalization" that is conducted with a financial support of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. New requirements could be met by using other methods. Once trained on patterns artificial neural networks can be used for forecasting and they are able to work with extremely big data sets in reasonable time. The patterns used for learning process are samples of past data. This paper uses Radial Basis Functions neural network in comparison with Multi Layer Perceptron network with Back-propagation learning algorithm on prediction task. The task works with simplified numerical time series and includes forty observations with prediction for next five observations. The main topic of the article is the identification of the main differences between used neural networks architectures together with numerical forecasting. Detected differences then verify on practical comparative example. Because of a different philosophy especially as regards the concept of competitive advantages, it requires a specific approach to evaluation of a company's market position from the point of view of its competitiveness. Basic evaluation includes four perspectives evaluating the profile of company competitiveness, suitability of the adopted approach, ability to develop the adopted approach and evaluation from the point of view of the benefit for the customer together with the ability of the competition to imitate the company's approach. This method has application not only in the area of company strategy creation but it can also be used when investigating the competitiveness of companies.
